Anglo-American Says 2 Chile Mines Without Power After Earthquake
February 27, 2010 – 9:32 pmAnglo American Plc said two copper mines in Chile are without power after an earthquake cut electricity, a company spokesman said in an e-mailed statement today. The mines affected are the Los Bronces and El Soldado mines and the company is in touch with teams on the ground, spokesman James Wyatt-Tilby said in the statement.
